We enjoy being in control. It is not a problem to embark on a long journey – as long as we are driving. But when we join passengers who board a plane, there is more uncertainty. Someone else is steering.
We are in our car, sometimes, driving while we know that we are not in control. We hold the steering wheerl. But we are not able to keep the car safely on the road. Our life has become unmanageable.
Strange that we remain a victim of this unmanageable situation. We do not drive a car that we cannot steer. And we do not board a plane that the pilot is unable to fly. But we go on with our life though it is running out of control.
When we understand this, it is time to look for help.
